Making a Huge Impact

In December, the Johnson County Christmas Bureau will distribute 37,500 diapers to low income families in JOCO. It's HappyBottoms single largest diaper distribution all year. More than 14,000 low income families in Johnson County count on the Johnson County Christmas Bureau for assistance for everything from groceries to clothing to toys to diapers! But this year the Holiday Shop lost its usual location and was struggling to find a new one. Thankfully, they recently announced that they have a new location for this year.

The Johnson County Poverty Rate is higher than the national average: more than 37,000 Johnson County residents live below the poverty level. "Our clients are so happy when they see that we have diapers available! It is one of the highlights of our Holiday Shop," says Andrea Cloughley with JCCB.
The Johnson County Christmas Bureau Holiday Shop opens December 3rd but needs lot of volunteers and support from the community. Click here for more info.
