Can you imagine a day without toilet paper? Last month, in a successful poster campaign created by Two West, we asked that very question in over 30 restaurants, bars, and businesses across Kansas City. Maybe you saw one of these posters in your favorite neighborhood hangout. Two West perfectly captured the struggle of diaper need for so many low income families. When you can't afford a basic necessity like diapers, you're left only with unappealing choices; such as leaving your baby in a dirty diaper longer than is healthy. We are so grateful for support from partners like Two West who help spread the message of diaper need. Their partnership during Diaper Need Awareness Week, along with support from the Kansas City Public Library, Kendra Scott Jewelry, Freedom Bank, and many others, helped us raise over 18,800 diapers and over $3,500 in donations. We also received 26 proclamations from cities and municipalities throughout the metro, including proclamations from the state of Kansas and Missouri, officially declaring September 28 - October 2 Diaper Need Awareness Week. Thank you to all of our partners and friends!
